OOC Note: This brief summary should help keep everyone moving along, and should get those that have ‘trailed off’ due to missing a few days and being ‘way out of the loop’ (you know who you are *gives evil look*), you should be able to jump right back into things and start simming away; I’ll fill in little tid-bits as well with other posts, but this’ll get us started! -----------------------* Cold Harbor Story / Action * The sounds throughout the ship came in waves, from the buckling bulkheads, stressed struts, injured crewmembers yet rescued and the silence of the dead; for the second time in 10 years, this exact same Excelsior Class Starship had suffered damage beyond any of her designers wildest dreams and estimations. Yet, as before during The Dominion War, the cost of her survival had been great; if a ship had a mechanical soul or spirit, she sure had come to the realization that for all intensive purposes, against all odds, she’d brought her crew home again; at least some of them anyway. 1st Lieutenant Branson Tyler, Executive Officer, Diplomatic Officer, Counselor of The Cold Harbor was dead, becoming a casualty ‘during the defense of his crewmates and his ship’; or at least that’s what Colonel Grant had put in his reports. Although it wouldn’t be until several weeks later during an official autopsy of his burnt and charred body, that some of the secrets of his ‘conditioning’ and ‘mental anguish’ would become known to the Senior Officers of The Cold Harbor. Finding it hard to damn a man, if he could even be considered that after the horrific ‘assaults and atrocities’ committed against the man himself, his death was labeled ‘Under Investigation; CRV Security Authority’. Coming to the realization that Branson had been a complete psychopath and schizophrenic, and yet was chosen to be ‘augmented’ into a tool of some kind, into the Mr. Tyler he knew; he hated the man that he was, not who he ended up being, hence he wouldn’t tarnish his image for everyone to see. With Tyler dead, and the ship still in crisis, there were still duties to attend to. Sabal, having entered only a few seconds after his death, and not having any time for explanations, quickly went to work with Bob Murkeye on the alien device that was actually causing the materials that made up the hull of the ship to lose cohesion and begin to come apart. With the ability only few in The Federation, and maybe this corner of the galaxy, could poses and display, they were able to get a partial transporter lock on the device and beam it off the ship; thankfully, with the lock so sketchy, it never rematerialized correctly and exploded in a small ‘cloud’ just off the stern of the ship. With the realization that power was failing all across the ship, as were most systems, Bob and Sabal went to work, with all the surviving engineers they could find, to at the very least, stabilize the ship ships, to keep her from succumbing to her wounds; no minor task. Seeing that there wasn’t much they could do, Colonel Grant, with Captain Zek’dyn’s assistance, departed the area and made their way to The Bridge; Zek only asking once, out of duty, for Grant to return to Sickbay first to be checked out, even though he already new the answer. Though the turbo groaned and complained the entire 4 ½ minute trip (instead of the 35 seconds it usually took), it did reach its destination. The doors to the lift opened, and Colonel Grant found himself looking at what was left of his Bridge, it was obvious that ‘she’d’ been under heavy engagement for much longer then was ever recommended, not to mention the fact that she wasn’t 100% upon departing space dock; his chest swelled with pride, at both his ship and crew. With the realization that the most heavily damaged aspect of the current situation wasn’t anything physical about the ship, or the casualties suffered by his crew (as people died in war), but their morale. With labored foot steps, no longer assisted by his long time friend, he got up to, and sat down in, his burnt command chair; softly scraping ash and other debris off his consoles. He’d give a speech, of some kind, something uplifting to raise the spirits of his valiant men and women; a tougher and more resolute crew, he had a hard time remembering. The time limit had come and gone, with no contact from The Cold Harbor, or any CRV ship for that matter. The Imperium, now within weapons range, couldn’t wait any longer, regretfully having no idea of what had already transpired (the ejected ‘fighter’ that Tyler had tried to send back had been destroyed by a combination of weapons fire and over stress on the frame due to the conditions at the time). Completing his short conversation with Ann, Director-General Robert Macharius exited his Ready Room and re-entered the Bridge. Without even a milliseconds hesitation, he ordered The Imperium to fire its warp distortion and planet destroying weaponry towards their preplanned target. Facing the realization that he’d sent not only well over 1,500 people to their deaths aboard the dispatched Starships (The Norway Class Sabre and Victory, The Defiant Class Volkers and The Excelsior Class Cold Habor), not to mention those aboard The Outpost, he felt greater sadness for the fact that he’d lost a young officer that he’d felt close to, and had admired; yet the sadness didn’t show on his face, but he felt it within.

* Cold Harbor Story / Action * The Cold Harbor: Although as already mentioned, the crew of The Cold Harbor, never throwing their hands up in defeat, was able to save the ship from the alien device, thus keeping The Cold Harbor in one piece; well, structurally speaking anyway. However, they had no chance to get out of the ‘blast radius’ of the weapon payload that was deployed in their sector of space. None of the weapons struck the ship, but the ones that impacted the surface of the planet literally killed the plant; burning the atmosphere and churning up the ground in a radius of 1,000 square kilometers around the impact point; or more specifically, where The Outpost had been. It was the warp distortion fields that the spatial weaponry created that did the actual damage. Granted, their detonations rocked and shook The Cold Harbor, its ‘turbulence’ wasn’t anything she couldn’t handle, but the ripples it caused through the surrounding area eliminated the possibility of both Warp Fields and Slipstream activation; it was impulse and thrusters only. The Cold Harbor, could only produce ¾ Impulse after 10 hours of maintenance and repair; it was a crawl for the distance they had to go, but they were moving none the less. Time Advance: 2 weeksIt took over 2 weeks, to make a great enough distance, to clear the ‘system’ in question, and by that time, Chief Murkeye and his Engineers, with the help of Sabal, had got the engines to Full Impulse and repaired almost as much as was realistically possible away from a Starbase; The Cold Harbor was not 100%, and needed serious refit at Space Dock, but she was moving and was at about 65% efficiency, with approximately 55% of her interior currently uninhabitable; areas with extensive hull damage and the like were sealed off to allow more critical repairs to be completed. The rest of the crew, had continued in their own ways, trying to comprehend what had happened, asking unanswerable questions, and ever attending to their duties. Colonel Grant had returned to Sickbay, once Doctor Jackson was up and about and The Colonel felt he was no longer needed on The Bridge as the rallying cry of the ship. In Sickbay, he’d taken up a private room for observation and additional treatments for injured internal organs that had suffered from the virus released into his body; not to mention his other injuries as a whole. Both cargo bays and the holodecks (deactivated) had been turned into morgues; the casualty count was high. Out of her starting crew of 850 Officers and Crewmen, just over 450 remained; each body was covered with a Federation Flag and a CRV Award Medal. With energy reserves under tight control, and the replicators used for only ‘critical’ needs (food, water, etc.) Colonel Grant, and other officers like Captain Zek’dyn, ate and drank only from the emergency ships ration supply, allotting their replicator time to create the flags and pins. Halfway through their 5th week, they found themselves coming upon an assortment of ships; a rather large fleet was just a head of them. Ship’s sensors reported 27 contacts, almost 17 of them heavy class ‘capital ships’. As the crew raced to confirm who they were, Colonel Grant found himself fearing they were going into yet another fight, and that maybe they were just destined to never make it home. Yet, as they continued to approach, sensors began confirming them as Federation Starships; it was an entire Fleet, all standing at Yellow Alert! At the fore front was The CRV Command Ship; The Imperium. One of the ships in The Fleet, which had been hiding behind a moon just a little ways away from the warships, now began to come into view; it was absolutely enormous. The ship was easily the size of dozens upon dozens of Galaxy Class Starships, and moved slowly; Colonel Grant had never seen anything like it and had no idea what it was, yet it continued to slowly crawl over towards the rest of The Fleet. After a short conversation with The Director-General, they found that the ship was a specially created class for the CRV and was dubbed the USS Mechanicum; it was a mobile repair base, large enough to allow several Starships to enter her hold and receive the same level of maintenance that one could receive at an official ship yard. Powering down her maneuvering systems, The Cold Harbor was pulled into the belly of this huge ship by its tractor beams and ‘dry docked’ at one of the available gantries. It would be here, within the ‘belly of the beast’, that The Cold Harbor would stay for the next 4 weeks while she was repaired, refitted, rearmed and re-crewed. OOC NOTE: New characters may now be ‘applied for’ and may be placed aboard ship in the coming RL weeks, please email me your character information for approval/s.

Location: Sickbay; (day 3 of the crawl out of the sector)
Feeling about as good as he was sure he was going to, without several weeks or rest, Colonel Grant re-adorned his uniform, placing the ‘smock’ into the dirty bin; he’d just finished snapping his pant’s buttons when Doctor Jackson had entered. Colonel Grant wasn’t the most athletic person in the quadrant, but he wasn’t some out of shape officer either. With broad shoulders, and easily carrying his 210 lbs, he stood shirtless in the ward room, unpacking his freshly replicated uniform and pulling a few strands tight that were loose; the CRV shoulder colors stripped to perfection.
He smiled as Doctor Jackson entered, his modestly clearly showing “Excuse me Doctor, I didn’t know you’d be back so quickly…” He turned away form her, and put on his undershirt and his uniform tunic jacket; his chest, sides and back told stories of their own, all covered with markings, burns and scars; his prominent chest hair missing in areas with significant damage. In his rather short Starfleet Career, he’d suffered a good number of injures; his most recent ones still easy to notice as they were the freshest looking. He turned back, as he finished button his tunic, and smiled, “I do appreciate your assistance Doctor, but I have to be getting back to The Bridge; there is lots to do and by god I know that you people deserve my attention.” He’d returned to Sickbay once Doctor Jackson was back on her feet, and he no longer felt that he had to be on The Bridge as a morale raising figure; getting The Cold Harbor’s crew back focused and trying to make sure they had every chance to survive as they could. He’d spent two whole days in Sickbay, under the Doctor’s watchful care and directives of hers carried out through her medical staff, as she too was recovering from some fairly serious injuries.
He passed by her, patting her on the shoulder with a warm smile “If the ship can take the beating she took and hold together, so can I; and so can her crew…” his hands gently squeeze her shoulders “all of her crew…” after holding the moment for just a few seconds, enough time to convey the message and not make everyone uncomfortable, he cleared Sickbay and began making his way up to The Bridge. It wasn’t as simply as heading just down the corridor and getting on a turbo lift; the greater majority of the ships turbo lift systems were down, or unreliable. He’d have to take two separate lifts and a short climb through a Jefferies Tube, but he didn’t mind the exercise. He was well aware that his Engineering Chief, along with every able bodied member of the crew, were working constantly, to repair as much of the ship as quickly as possible.
Exiting the tube, just outside The Bridge, he entered through the back of the briefing room, then entered The Bridge. The damage was still very evident, no matter where you looked. If anything, the ship was still in one piece, but she was damaged extensively; yet she refused to lay down and die. The Bridge was blacked out in a lot of areas, as the majority of the consoles were still down and out of commission. The Bridge only controlled currently Primary Navigation, Helm Control, Internal Communications and the ability to monitor Engineer and several secondary systems. It would be better if they ship was command from Engineering, but Colonel Grant had refused the recommendation for two reasons; one being that it was again a symbol to be aboard The Bridge and keep it as a viable Command and Control Center, and in times such as they were in, morale was the most important commodity that they could offer, while secondly, he was sure that Bob would have made his life constantly ‘interesting’ if The Colonel and the rest of the bridge staff were cluttering up his work space. However, the thought of Bob being so discomforted by their presence, and probably throwing an item or two, always brought a smile to The Colonel’s face.
He walked over to the center chair, as unlike normal operations that would required 8-12 officers on The Bridge at any given time, there were currently only the need for 4 of them; Officer in Command, Helmsen, Operations Officer and a ‘runner’, as internal communications were still ‘catchy’ at best. He looked to the Officer in the center chair, and found Lt. Tam Grax occupying the chair. “Report Lieutenant, status?” Colonel Grant wasn’t expecting much, if anything Grant was a realist, and knew that the amount of damage that the ship sustained was serious, considering that most any other ship would surely have been destroyed outright.
He heard from Grax that repairs were proceeding on schedule, for what it was worth, and that and additional 14 survivors had been found in the damaged areas by the security, marine and medical S&R (Search and Rescue) teams, which caused Grant to smile. However, an additional 49 bodies had been recovered to, but he continued to fly high on the fact that even well 3 days, they were still finding people alive as they searched the ship; an order that he knew Captain Zek’dyn was following very literally, taking charge of the searching himself. He’d heard that Cargo Bay 1 was still being used as a triage station, and was still ‘at capacity’, Cargo Bay 2 was converted to a morgue, and was about at capacity; they’d converted Holodecks 1 and 2 two morgues as well; their casualties were almost 50% of the crew, and considering her crew was a compliment of over 800… they took up a lot of space. “Thank you Lieutenant, you are relieved. I have The Bridge.” He watched Grax nod, and turn to leave, as Grant took over the chair and sat down; he always liked the feel of ‘the big chair’. “Oh,” he started, just as Grax was exiting the doors “Mr. Grax, please stop by Sickbay if you would…” Colonel Grant never turned to look at Grax, he spoke as he brought up readouts on the few working command chair screens “I think someone there could use your company; report back to duty in a few hours. Dismissed.”
With his back turned, Grax wouldn’t have seen the smile that passed across The Colonel’s lips; but damn his empathic abilities, he’d probably have noticed something. With just him, and three other officers on The Bridge, he drew a PADD and began reviewing reports; all the other senior officers were either on medical down time or working on other, more important, assignments. He’d check in with them later. “Helm,” the young Andorian female officer, who displayed injuries herself, turned to look back at him “continue with best possible speed back to CRV Ship Yards orbiting Ulgartia 3.” It was a pointless order, everyone knew it, they were already making best speed; all of ¾ Impulse. But, it was a hint at the return to normalcy that everyone needed to feel, and the officer nodded and continued working the consoles. “Aye Sir, course still plotted and engines running at maximum speed; .79 impusle. Estimated time to destination at current speed, 4 months, 27 days.” Colonel Grant smiled “Sounds about right Lieutenant; under the 6 month mark…” the officers on The Bridge chuckled, relaxing as their CO tried to lighten the mood.
With external sensor completely fraked, along with the majority of other primary systems, they had no way of knowing what was going on anywhere outside of visual range. Even if they could create a Warp Field or a Slipstream Corridor (Chief Murkeye had reported that Slipstream was down due to damage, and even once their warp engines were repaired; his calculations showed that they weren’t able to create a Warp Field for some reason), they’d end up flying into the middle of a planet or something as they couldn’t see where they were going; due to deflector problems. But, with every passing day, Grant, and the crew, knew they were getting closer to repairing each critical system and things would slowly improve. He accepted an offered ‘ration pack’ by the officer acting in the ‘runner’ role at the moment, one of Zek’s security officers, and took a bite of the ration bar and a sip of the water pack.
With his meal resting on one of the console rests, he continued to review the information on his PADD.

Location: Sickbay, Day 1
He was discharged from sickbay after Doctor Jackson, who was well rested and recovering from her injuries, gave him a clean bill of health. She had not mentioned anything of whether she remembered anything in particular about remembering a message he sent her while she was asleep. Inwardly, he was disappointed and was about to ask her verb ally to go out with him, the Colonel called him into his private room to speak with him
It was there where he learned of Branson Tyler's death, the colonel had killed him himself. This came as a surprise but quite frankly, he was glad Tyler had met his end. He knew that Tyler had gone star raving mad and seemed a fitting end for him. Hopefully now, Tyler would find peace
The Colonel then told him that they were en route for repairs. He assumed at a space port somewhere, but the Colonel informed him of the monstrous ship that is in the employ of the CRV Command. A portable space port, he mused. The biggest surprise came when the Colonel had asked him to watch the bridge while he stayed in sickbay to recover and rest.
As he exited Grant's room, he looked around for Doctor Jackson. Seeing that she was busy with other patients, working on their injuries and getting most of them discharged, he left sickbay without bothering her, making his way to the bridge
Location: Main Bridge, Day 3
A couple days later, he is on the bridge still, taking reports every hour. He had just collected the 3rd hourly report of the shift when the Colonel came to the bridge. He stood from the command chair and saluted him, then launching into his report when he asked for one. He reported that repairs were proceeding on schedule. He was happy to report that 14 more survivors had been found in the midst of the still damaged areas and more are being found each day, Although 49 bodies were also found and he was sure that number would climb as well. Cargo bay 1 had been turned into a triage center and was still filled to capacity, Cargo bay 2 is now a morgue and filling up at a steady pace. Holodecks 1 and 2 have also been converted into morgues, since the dead seem to outnumber the space in Cargo bay 2.
When he finished his report, Grant informed him he is relieved and he has the bridge. He gave a nod and a polite yes, sir before moving toward the Turbo lift. Just as he got there, he stood in the doorway of the lift as Grant called his name again. He turned to look at his back as he told him that someone in sickbay could use his company. His brow rose in question and the question formed in his mind Who might that be, sir but he did not verbalize it. His empathic senses would indeed pick up that the Colonel was hinting at something. With his own smile, he assured the Colonel that he would stop by in sickbay to see the individual in question before returning to duty in a couple hours, just as the Colonel quoted
With that, he fully stepped into the turbo lift and let the doors close. He told the lift his destination, sickbay, and off he went. When he entered sickbay a couple minutes later, he would seek Doctor Jackson out, hoping she would have some time away from duties and spend some time with him. Also, he wanted to ask her something...

Post by Dr. Sabina Jackson on Oct 20, 2009 16:33:11 GMT -6
Location: Sickbay (same time as his post) The past few days were a blur. Sabina's memory was spotty, but somehow she had managed to remember just about all of the terrible parts in her dreams- what few of them she had because she barely slept. She was very jumpy and reluctant to be alone- not that the presence of medical staff and others had prevented her from coming to harm during the past few weeks. As soon as she'd been able to stagger to her feet, she had attended to Colonel Grant's multiple injuries from the fight and to the crewmembers who trickled in with less serious injuries. She had gone though the triage center in the cargo bay and done a check on everyone at least once per duty shift and had treated every one of the 14 live people recovered from the searches of the ship. The bodies had been identified and sent to the morgue. There were too many for autopsies, so only the ones that were 'mysteries' or were of interest of some sort- like Lt. Tyler- were kept in the sickbay morgue for later autopsy. Anyway, she had finally allowed a very antsy Colonel Grant to return to duty. There wasn't much she could do to keep him there now that he could walk unassisted and wasn't in pain. She had given him a uniform and had stepped out to let him change, but had miscalculated and returned before he had his shirt back on. Though it wasn't anything she hadn't seen before, she still turns slightly pink and mumbles an apology. She could tell she'd interrupted his thoughts, which caused her more embarassment, even though she couldn't hear them, than seeing a man without a shirt (as she saw that often due to her profession). She waits until he finishes changing and turns to speak with her. “I do appreciate your assistance Doctor, but I have to be getting back to The Bridge; there is lots to do and by god I know that you people deserve my attention.” "I know how that feels." Her voice is quieter than it usual. "We may have very different jobs, but they're also very similar at the same time. I'd make you stay, but other people need that bed and other people need you." As far as she knew, no one was out to attack them anymore and it would take weeks to reach 'civilization', so they were all going to get rest sooner or later. Even the engineers could work in shifts and got more rest than the only doctor and only commanding officer on the ship. She would be glad when they finally got the rest of the medical staff that were supposed to be on a ship this size. He passed by her, patting her on the shoulder with a warm smile “If the ship can take the beating she took and hold together, so can I; and so can her crew…” his hands gently squeeze her shoulders “all of her crew…”
She must look like she felt, but she's grateful that he's trying to make her feel better. Her attempt to smile back at him was feeble... she just didn't have it in her to smile. "I'm trying, sir... I'm trying my best. Thank you." She had come close to breaking down emotionally several times and was exhausted physically, mentally and emotionally. She had managed to refrain from a complete meltdown in front of everyone, though, and had saved her tears for when she went to her quarters to shower and change into a clean uniform. She watches him leave, then turns and goes to her office.
Certain medical supplies had been running out, so she had used her replicator rations to make some of what they needed. Her office was now piled with crates of emergency ration packs taken from the cargo bay/ morgue and now were being used to save replicator power for what was needed. She pushes a box out of her way and sits at her desk with a sigh. An open ration pack was on her desk, forgotten a few hours earlier after discovering that she wasn't hungry at all. Rounds were done for the morning, and no one new had been admitted since then. She rests her head on her arms, too tired to resist the chance to take a break, but too afraid of the memories and dreams to actually sleep. This was how Tam found her when he arrived in Sickbay.

He didn't see Sabina out in the main part of sickbay but before he went to go look in her office, he went and checked out a couple patients, saw that they were recovering nicely and the nursing staff is helping those that are not comfortable
Turning, he made his way back to Sabina's office where when he poked his head in, he saw her head laying in her arms on her desk. Other part of her desk were cluttered with some boxes stacked in the corner. Perhaps she was using her office as a storage room as well? He chuckled inwardly at the thought
Focusing back on Sabina herself, he could sense that she was tired and there were a lot more patients still out there, She was taking a break and he thought it was well deserved. He hated to wake her from her restful state but the Colonel stated that there was someone in sickbay who wanted to see him. He assumed it was Sabina. "Sleeping Beauty" he muttered to himself, thinking of one of Earth's fairy tales "Will you wake for your Prince"? If he is her prince
He spoke up, using a soft voice as to not startle her "Sabina, love, are you awake"? He inquired

She wakes up with a jump from a light doze to the sound of Tam trying to wake her up. Looking around, she sees Tam and relaxes again. "Did you have fun on the bridge?" She asks, knowing that he'd been up there in the Colonel or Zek's absence.
She pulls a chair over for him and puts aside the box of hypospray cartridges that hadn't made it from the replicator to the storage cabinets yet.

He saw her jerk awake, like she had just gotten to sleep when he came in and woke her up way to go, Tam he thought to himself. She looked around a bit to gt her bearings and then settled on him. He smiled a bit at her question and answered "Not as much fun as I am sure it would be with you there on the bridge to keep me company. That is if you call taking casualty reports of those still being found dead or injured, taking reports of how badly the ship is damaged and estimated times of how long it would take to get fixed, fun. Althought, it was a it surprising that the Colonel had asked me to take bridge watch" he commented as he sat down in the chair that Sabina cleared and offered him. He pondered the brief thought of putting those boxed hypospray cartriges away but then mentally dismissed that idea. He then spotted the un-eated ration next to her. "Would you like something to eat or drink"? He politely offered

Status – Day 02 He was already on board the USS Mechanicum, where this time he didn’t plan to miss his appointment; especially for the 2nd time. From 1 of several observation stations looking in-wards of the massive repair bays of this moving repair station. He watched the very ship he was to report in to. Seeing the state of how her 1st mission had tear her nearly apart. He was grateful that the events that led him to miss his shuttle. Where had in avertedly miss the USS Cold Harbor leaving the CRV HQ Starbase from the start. He stood with 2 marines that had their uniforms appeared to have gone through a fight. Phaser burns, blood and damage on them physically aside from their garments. ‘Brett’, however was dressed just as ‘Branson Tyler’ had looked like. A new all jet black uniform with a simple insignia of the ‘The Institute’ rather then a Federation combadge. Though he did carry 1 but it remain on his left risk. His face, body and voice resembled if not looked like Branson. ‘Brett’ could be easily mistaken as Branson or if not an identical twin. Granted his demeanor and hair style were different from Branson. He glanced upon the 2 marines a male and a female. They’re names and personal profiles where stored on the USS Cold Harbor from the start. Nothing that would make them suspicious from being out of the ordinary. However, these 2 had never been on the Cold Harbor until at the present. While ‘Brett’ had looked between the 2, he spoke. ‘ You have your orders. Do what it takes to retrieve our property and remove all trace of them. Understood?’ The 2 Marines gave a simple response and had an untraceable skeletal lock and beamed to the Cold Harbor. They materialized in a Turbo Lift where the 2 had scaled out from the top. Since the Turbo system were out of order while repairs due to of structural integrity instability. The marines had brought them selves to Deck 7 on the Main Sickbay deck. 1 the female headed directly where the body of Branson Tyler was kept. While the other, male; remained in the Jeffrey tube system. During which he worked on uploading a virus to delete all data evidence of Branson Tyler. The woman headed in to Sickbay like any other injured crewmember. Acted and thought just like any other personnel that went through an ordeal. She was trained the manipulate nearly most empathic and telepathic life forms. As a nurse named of Green treated her burns on her face and even had an conversation with the nurse. She waited for a all clear and she smiles and walked strait to the morgue. As busy as the Sickbay staff were. Hadn’t had notice her slipping in and even if there were guards. Questioning her would led to a justified reason or she would have discreetly get rid of those who may cross her. There she found the charred mutilated remains of Branson Tyler. The marine had looked in his empty cavities that had his eyes and she leaned over and kissed his lips. She then placed transporter beacons on the body and tapped her combadge. Not long she and the body were gone. No trace of signal path; nothing remained not even any cells or DNA of Branson Tyler in the place he was held. The male marine was successful of removing all information, logs etc of Branson Tyler. Anything that were kept of documentation or mentioning of Branson where deleted or replace by another name from the computer cores of the Cold Harbor. Once he completed his mission he too transported and was no where seen again. Status – Day 03 Not long after ‘Brett’ Tyler had boarded the Cold Harbor and had started to ‘settle in’. Where Branson’s quarters were ‘Brett’ had replaced him as if he was already had be living there. All belongings of this Branson. ‘Brett’ clamed it was sent here on the Cold Harbor on the day it left for her 1st mission. All he had to do was to wait for the Colonel to recover before he would introduce him self to him and ‘Brett’s’ new fellow crewmen. As busy as the Cold Harbor was; repairs and personnel moving from starship to starship. Not everyone could be easily kept notified who boarded the vessel. ‘Brett’ had checked and learned that the Colonel had been discharged from Sickbay. As he thought this would be the best to introduce and report to his new Commanding Officer. He made his way through the Turbo Lift to Deck 01. ‘Brett’ maintained an amble towards the captain’s chair. Presented his transfer PADD; where he clearly was not Starfleet regular, however, he understood the general ideas of conduct. He immediately expressed himself and showed his personality freely. ‘ My apologizes sir, from the looks at this ship I’m rather glad I missed your maiden voyage. I’m Dr. Jessie Brett Tyler. I am the appointed Executive officer for the mean time. I am looking forward in working along side you and help your crew heal from his terrible situation. On the PADD ‘if’ Colonel Grant scanned first would have stated who and what ‘Brett’ was (conveys to his BIO.)

She nods at Tam as he talks about the situation on the bridge. It must be nice to just hear about the news like that. "I got to see those casualties." Her voice is sad and heavy- like the weight of the ship is on her shoulders. She slumps and rests her head on the desk, her thoughts a swirl of confused thoughts.
She looks up at him when he offers food, "I'm glad you came. I needed a distraction. I'm not really hungry, though." There was nowhere to go for entertainment, but even sitting down and resting a bit was an improvement.

Sadness and fatigue were quite evident in the doctor's movements, and he didn't need his empathic senses to tell him that. He pondered what he may want to drink, if anything "I've seen quite a few casualties myself, Sabina. While I wasn't on the bridge, I spent most of my time down here, helping those who were injured, when I wasn't injured myself. I even helped in your recovery some" He said as he saw her putting her head back on the desk. He helped her cause he couldn't bear the thought of being without her. He wanted to protect her but his efforts did little good against the Borg and with the crazed maniac, Branson Tyler
He nods slightly when she looked back to him, telling him she wasn't that hungry. It wasn't good for her to go without eating but he wasn't going to push her into eating. Not unless he had to "I am here for you, Sabina, to keep you company and help you in anyway I can" The Colonel's words came to mind, that someone in sickbay needed his company. He didn't need any urging to want to be with Sabina. That feeling came naturally

When Tam reminds her of help he had given, and tells her he's here for her. She looks up at him, gratitude shining in her light brown eyes and an expression of guilt stricken on her face. "I'm sorry, I'm being selfish... I really do appreciate your help. You helped me after Tyler tried to kill me..."
She was hardly empathic, but she can kind of tell that he's feeling guilty about something too. She wasn't sure, though. "He didn't hurt you too badly, did he?" She wonders why he didn't try to apprehend Tyler himself, if that was why he seemed to be feeling bad.
